BERNY - I Guess You Know (Dance)(Kruse & Nuernberg Rmx)[Seamless Recordings]

Classé dans : Rebbot Sady — Tags :, , , — pornounivoice @ 9:07

Seamless Black Label returns with the new Release from Seamless Artist, Berny. His recent releases on Seamless have been picking up some great support, and his track “Shplatten” on Aenaria Records reached 16 in Beatports Deep House Chart. He has been working hard in the studio and now Berny brings us his new track “I Guess You Know (Dance)”. With some excellent punchy beats and percussion along with subtle synths this is reminiscent of older Sandy Rivera tracks This is a great track for a big room when things are starting to get going. As always with a Seamless singles Release, this comes with a Remix and for this track we have turned to Deep House dons, Florian Kruse & Nils Nuernberg. For their remix Kruse & Nuernberg have taken this on a deeper tip. With excellent arrangement and flawless production, this is constructed around an amazing hypnotic deep groove that builds gradually before reaching the break, where it comes to a head before dropping massively back in. This is one for the heads and some late night action.

Defining Viral Induced Asthma

Classé dans : Defining — Tags :, , — pornounivoice @ 4:10

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Asthma is a chronic ailment which affects the respiratory system. Not only is this condition inconvenient and unpredictable when neglected it can also become deadly. In actuality, according to surveys, asthma accounts for about 20% of the hospital admittance made each year, 3-5% of which is fatal. There are many factors that can cause the disease, allergies, exercise, stress, cold weather, and even viruses. Taking a deeper look at the role viruses play in bringing about the symptoms, here are a few facts about viral induced asthma along with the avoidance tips that you might want to keep in mind:

Viral induced asthma is what happens when viruses cause or worsen asthma symptoms. When faced with a viral infection the body counteracts by triggering and inflammatory response to attack the viruses and defend itself. While for non asthmatics this response can help hasten recovery for those who are afflicted by the condition, this response can cause swelling and increased sensitivity of airway cells as well as the excessive production of mucus, thereby worsening the problem.

Simple viruses like influenza A or rhinovirus can be anything but common or simple for asthmatics as it can further irritate the already sensitive air passages, triggering flare-ups and even worsening attacks. Research has also found that another virus namely; the Respiratory Syncytial Virus have been known to bring about symptoms similar to asthma when contracted and is already linked to death of small children in rare occasions.

In adults RSV can also cause wheezing even for individuals who have no history of asthma and induce symptoms to those who are already afflicted. What’s good about viral induced asthma (although there may be nothing really good about it) is that, viral induced asthma cases tend to wax and wane along with the seasons. Rhinovirus for example has a peak season in late fall, and influenza A usually peaks in late winter. RSV on the other hand is most common during the winter months, peaking from January to February in the northern hemisphere.

The bad news is that at this moment there are no medications that can permanently rid the mentioned viruses as well as prevent the attacks associated with asthma. Your primary weapon would be precaution and avoidance. Getting your flu-shot, frequent hand washing and temporarily limiting contact with people who have upper respiratory symptoms are some of the good tips that you should be keeping in mind as well.

If you want to know more about viral induced asthma as well as the additional steps you can take in order to avoid it, ask your health care provider or check out medical sites on the internet as both will surely be able to provide you with the information that you need.

Jazz Classics: Miles Davis - So What

Classé dans : Defining — Tags : — pornounivoice @ 14:32

one of the many defining songs of the late, great Miles Davis’s career. Miles has worked with many of Jazz’s greatest musicians including Gil Evans, Bill Evans and John Coltrane (who were all involved in this song in some way). Miles died in 1991, but left a legacy behind of finding the “newest big thing” before it became big. he was even successful in his last few years as his final album saw production and rapping from hip hop producer Easy Moe Bee long before hip hop made it into the spotlight. the album was released posthumously. he was well-known for foreshadowing the beginning of cool Jazz with his album “Birth Of Cool,” fusion with his legendary album “Bitches Brew,” hot Jazz, and several other Jazz movements. enjoy.

Information on Different Vacuum Cleaner Attachments

Classé dans : Dyson Vacuum — Tags :, , , , — pornounivoice @ 13:04

There are a variety of accessories and attachments available for vacuum cleaners. Knowing what areas will be cleaned is the most important thing to consider before choosing a vacuum cleaner and the attachments. Another thing to consider is the size of the person using the unit. Some vacuums are heavier and taller than others and the corresponding accessories can be less substantive in smaller units.

The flexible hose attachment is a useful tool because it allows the operator to reach areas not easily accessible by the vacuum’s main roller and can fit other tools on its end. Some hose attachments actually retract into an uprights main unit, readily available when needed. Other hoses may be a part of a kit that fits the machine and need to be installed when the operator needs to clean a certain area. These kits are usually available for machines like backpack vacuums and wet/dry units.

Another tool that is useful for extending the reach of the operator is the wand. Like the hose, the wand is also able to fit other tools on the suction end. A wand is typically either metal or hard plastic and allows the user to reach difficult areas without flopping around. The best wands are attached to the upright vacuum cleaners retractable, flexible hose and fit back into the main unit when not in use. Wands are also a valuable tool for backpack vacuums where they not only can be used for hard-to-reach areas, but can also be fitted with a floor tool that can clean carpeting.

The brush attachment is a terrific tool for areas with spider webs and pet hair. The brush lifts the debris from the surface and the suction hole in the middle pulls the debris into the hose or wand. Brushes come in many shapes and sizes and the best brushes have firm bristles and smooth edges so that surfaces are not marred while cleaning. Brush tools are helpful for delicate areas like lampshades, window treatments, ceiling fixtures or painted surfaces.

The crevice tool is of great use if the operator needs to get into thin areas that harbor a lot of dust and debris, such as furniture cushions, car seats and venting. Crevice tools come in varying widths and lengths and are often included with the unit or a kit. Generally speaking, crevice tools that are a bit larger in width and length are more desirable because they don’t clog as easily as smaller ones.

When choosing any vacuum cleaner and the available attachments, it is always important to remember what the unit will be used to clean. Many accessories are great for general cleaning, but there are specialized tools and kits of accessories that have been combined in order to tackle a particular job. Tool kits designed for car cleaning and detailing are especially popular, but there are many others available for more specific jobs.

Cisco CCNA Certification: Defining Broadcast Domains

Classé dans : Defining — Tags :, , , — pornounivoice @ 12:21

When you’re studying to pass the CCNA exam and earn your certification, you’re introduced to a great many terms that are either totally new to you or seem familiar, but you’re not quite sure what they are. The term “broadcast domain” falls into the latter category for many CCNA candidates.

A broadcast domain is simply the group of end hosts that will receive a broadcast sent out by a given host. For example, if there are ten host devices connected to a switch and one of them sends a broadcast, the other nine devices will receive the broadcast. All of those devices are in the same broadcast domain.

Of course, we probably don’t want every device in a network receiving every single broadcast sent out by any other device in the network! This is why we need to know what devices can create multiple, smaller broadcast domains. Doing so allows us to limit the broadcasts traveling around our network - and you might be surprised how much traffic on some networks consists of unnecessary broadcasts.

Using the OSI model, we find devices such as hubs and repeaters at Layer One. This is the Physical layer, and devices at this layer have no effect on broadcast domains.

At Layer Two, we’ve got switches and bridges. By default, a switch has no effect on broadcast domains; CCNA candidates know that a switch will forward a broadcast out every single port on that switch except the one upon which it was received. However, Cisco switches allow the creation of Virtual Local Area Networks, or VLANs, that are logical segments of the network. A broadcast sent by one host in a VLAN will not be forwarded out every other port on the switch. That broadcast will be forwarded only out ports that are members of the same VLAN as the host device that sent it.

The good news is that broadcast traffic will not be forwarded between VLANs. The bad news is that no inter-VLAN traffic at all is allowed by default! You may actually want this in some cases, but generally you’re going to want inter-VLAN traffic. This requires the use of a router or other Layer 3 device such as a Layer 3 Switch. (Layer 3 Switches are becoming more popular every day. Basically, it’s a switch that can also run routing protocols. These switches are not tested on the CCNA exam.)

That router we just talked about also defines broadcast domains. Routers do not forward broadcasts, so broadcast domains are defined by routers with no additional configuration.

Knowing how broadcasts travel across your network, and how they can be controlled, is an important part of being a CCNA and of being a superior network administrator. Best of luck to you in both of these pursuits!

Lost Evidence: “Pearl Harbor” 1 of 5

Classé dans : Defining — Tags :, , , , , , , , — pornounivoice @ 6:40

The 7 December 1941 Japanese raid on Pearl Harbor was one of the great defining moments in history. A single carefully-planned and well-executed stroke removed the United States Navy’s battleship force as a possible threat to the Japanese Empire’s southward expansion. America, unprepared and now considerably weakened, was abruptly brought into the Second World War as a full combatant. Eighteen months earlier, President Franklin D. Roosevelt had transferred the United States Fleet to Pearl Harbor as a presumed deterrent to Japanese agression. The Japanese military, deeply engaged in the seemingly endless war it had started against China in mid-1937, badly needed oil and other raw materials. Commercial access to these was gradually curtailed as the conquests continued. In July 1941 the Western powers effectively halted trade with Japan. From then on, as the desperate Japanese schemed to seize the oil and mineral-rich East Indies and Southeast Asia, a Pacific war was virtually inevitable. By late November 1941, with peace negotiations clearly approaching an end, informed US officials (and they were well-informed, they believed, through an ability to read Japan’s diplomatic codes) fully expected a Japanese attack into the Indies, Malaya and probably the Philippines. Completely unanticipated was the prospect that Japan would attack east, as well. The US Fleet’s Pearl Harbor base was reachable by an aircraft carrier force, and the Japanese Navy secretly sent one across the

"Defining and Feeling Successful" (However you define success)

Classé dans : Defining — Tags :, , , , , — pornounivoice @ 3:49

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Formula For Success

The winners in this life know the rules of the game and have a plan. Whether you’re looking to heal a relationship, get a new job, lose weight or find inner peace, consider these characteristics, which are common to people who succeed.

Story:

A young boy was with his father in a sweet /candy store. Amazed at all the goods on offer, he pressed his nose on the glass cabinet and marvelled at the selection on offer”. Pretty soon the storekeeper asked the boy to “reach in to the jars and take what he wanted”, a special treat on the storekeeper. Eyes a-wide he remained motionless and speechless! “Go on son, dig in and take your pick”, but the son remained unmoved once again. Embarrassed, the father reached up and took a handful and gave it to the storekeeper to wrap. After showing their appreciation the father and son journeyed home. “Son, why didn’t you take the candy on offer when asked to do so”? The son looked his father in the eye and replied, “Because your hands are bigger than mine, dad”.

All too often we face the options available to us in life with the same sort of amazement, and reluctance. To make the right choices, we need to reach into the candy jar and trust that our hands may not be as big as our father’s hands, but it is a start.

Vision:

Champions get what they want because they know what they want.

They have a vision that keeps them motivated and efficiently on track. They see it, feel it, and experience it in their minds and hearts.

What is success for you? You won’t get there without knowing what it feels and looks like.

Strategy:

People who consistently win have a clear and thoughtful strategy.

They know what they need to do and when they need to do it.

They write it down so they stay on course, and avoid any alternative that does not get them closer to the finish line.

Passion:

Are you excited to get up in the morning? People with a passion are, and they’re energized about what they are doing.

You need to live and breathe what it is that you want, and be passionately invested in both the journey and the goal.

Truth:

People who consistently win have no room in their lives for denial, fantasy or fiction.

They are self-critical rather than self-deluding, and they hold themselves to high but realistic standards. They deal with the truth, since they recognize that nothing else will make their vision obtainable.

Flexibility:

Life is not a success-only journey. Even the best-laid plans sometimes must be altered and changed.

Be open to input and consider any potentially viable alternative. Be willing to be wrong and be willing to start over.

Risk:

People who consistently win are willing to get out of their comfort zone and try new things.

Be willing to take the plunge into the unknown if necessary, and leave behind the tried and tested (which is our comfort zone), the un-challenged, and familiar existence in order to grow more. (dads hands are bigger than mine)

Network:

Surround yourself with a group of people who want you to succeed.

They will move with you toward your goal. Choose and bond with people who have skills, talents and abilities that you do not. Winners give and receive by being part of other people’s nuclear groups.

Action:

Do it! People who succeed don’t just sit and think about what they want to do.

They take meaningful, purposeful, directional action consistently and persistently. Every step they take puts them toward the outcome they’re looking for.

Priorities:

People who are consistent winners manage their challenges in hierarchical fashion.

They commit to managing their time in such a way that does not allow them to spend time grinding along on priority number two or three if priority number one needs their attention.

Self-management:

People who consistently win consciously and pointedly take care of themselves as individuals.

They are the most important resource they have in achieving their goals. They actively manage their mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health.

The old adage of “fail to plan = plan to fail” rings so true in any area of life. Success has persistence as its guide. Perhaps the single most important factor in a successful persons life, is self-discipline. Observe the daily routine of an individual, and you can quickly determine their probable outcome. In my book Seven steps to empowerment, I outline The secret of success is found in the daily routine or habits.

All the information in the world will not initiate anything. Even a dictionary with all its definition on words cannot initiate conversation. All the ideas I have within these pages will not initiate your dreams but they will motivate you to action.
